The woman remains at the centre of what is being understood.
Not a category. Not an isolated concern. A whole person.

Wellness Domains · An open field
Where might attention or support be helpful?
The answer isn’t predetermined.
Wellness Domains remain open. As understanding develops, different possibilities for further consideration, self-directed action, appropriate support, collaboration or referral may become relevant.
Understandingcan open possibilities.
A possibility, not a stage
Possible next steps
An area may deserve more time, attention or shared enquiry before any direction is considered.
Integrative and complementary
Alicia’s work does not assume that she must provide whatever support becomes relevant. A direction might involve something the woman chooses to do herself, continued work with Alicia, another appropriate practitioner, an existing professional, a regulated healthcare professional where appropriate, or a combination of support.
Agency throughout
Appropriate direction is considered collaboratively, taking account of the woman herself, her preferences, her circumstances, her existing support and appropriate professional scope. The woman retains agency throughout.
Iterative · Interconnected · Non-diagnostic Where clinical assessment, diagnosis or treatment is needed, this sits within the appropriate role of regulated healthcare professionals. Complementary wellness support does not replace that care.
The perspective shift
You have seen more of the picture. What might be missed without it?
02 — The proposition
Understanding before considering what support may be appropriate.
Context does not sit around the edges. It changes the picture.
PCM™ is Alicia A. Walters’ developing woman-centred, context-led wellness methodology. It brings the woman, her experience and the context around it into a wider field of understanding.
PCM Pattern Mapping™ forms part of the reasoning and mapping approach within PCM™. It supports attention to relationships and patterns as understanding develops.

03 — Where curiosity leads
A developing methodology. A wider conversation.
For women
More of you is considered.
PCM™ begins with you and what you are experiencing.
Rather than reducing that experience to one isolated concern, it considers the wider picture around you: how different aspects of your experience, circumstances and wellbeing may connect and influence one another.
The aim is not to fit you into a predetermined pathway, but to develop a fuller, more individual understanding of what is happening for you, what matters to you and what may be useful to consider next.
PCM™ is a developing methodology. Practitioner training, licensing and certification are not currently presented as available.
Methodology Development
What are you already doing that could become something more?
You may already have a way of working that has developed through experience. A particular sequence. A set of questions. A way of understanding your clients. A process you return to because it works.
What happens when you stop treating that as simply “the way I work” and start examining what it could become?

You bring the thinking that has grown from your practice. I help you examine it, structure it, challenge it and determine what it could become.
PCM™ is one example of what methodology development can look like. Yours won't look like mine.
