PCM™ Practitioner Manual V0.3
The current manual brings the developing architecture, principles, practitioner reasoning and working process into one controlled record.
PCM™ · Precision Context Model™
A developing, woman-centred, context-led wellness methodology created by Alicia A. Walters.
The methodology, the questions that changed it, and the practitioner work taking shape around it.
01 — The starting thinking
PCM™ developed from Alicia’s context-led work in women’s wellness and her interest in understanding the woman as an individual whose experience exists within a wider life context.
Earlier architecture
This earlier architecture visualised women’s wellness through interacting layers, beginning with the individual woman and extending outward.

03 — Critical review
Reviewing the representation, not dismissing the thinking
As PCM™ developed, the layered architecture increasingly presented a problem. Visually, layers could suggest hierarchy and a fixed sequence that did not adequately represent the responsive way understanding develops in practice.
Critical review became the route forward: preserve the wider contextual thinking, while changing the architecture used to express it.
04 — Iteration: from layers to interconnection
The current architecture brings The Woman, Biological & Psychological Expression, Context Lens and Wellness Domains into a responsive relationship.

05 — Operationalising the methodology
The work moved beyond conceptual architecture into practitioner process and tools.

“Do not make the woman fit the map. The map must remain responsive to the woman.”
06 — From concept to practitioner methodology
The current manual brings the developing architecture, principles, practitioner reasoning and working process into one controlled record.
Education development is the next stage of translating the methodology into a coherent practitioner learning experience.
PCM™ remains a developing methodology. Neither the Practitioner Manual nor practitioner-course development is presented here as externally validated or commercially established.
Professional boundary
It is complementary to healthcare, non-diagnostic and non-prescriptive.
PCM™ is a distinct women’s wellness methodology and should not be conflated with Alicia’s separate Business Innovation & Service Design work within the wellness sector. Precision Clarity is also separate: PCM™ is the methodology; Precision Clarity is one private-practice application informed by PCM™.
